Ermenegildo Zegna at Milan's fashion week

Ermenegildo Zegna's jaw-dropping collection took place last week in the opening of Milan's fashion week.

With a classic color palette in shades of grey, black and beige, Ermenegildo Zegna showed off their unique style with bomber jackets, trench coats and leather jacket with fur necks. The basics of the collection were all made in wool; the brands signature textile.

It also showcased jerseys in mustard color and emerald green, bringing a touch of color to the overall look.

But what really caught our eye was the double-knot tie.

You may be thinking that there are all kind of crazy styles during fashion shows but aren't new trends also spotted? I mean, in the end the whole point of a fashion show apart from showcasing your products is to create a fashion statement; something out of the ordinary that has the potential to become the next big trend.

Lately we have seen different ways for knotting a tie:

- Twist it: twist the skinny lenght of the tie at the knot so that it runs alongside, instead of the traditional way, behind the wider lenght.

- Tuck it: tuck your tie between the third and fourth buttons.

- Reverse it: leave the skinny lenght longer than the wider lenght.

But we have never seen the double-knot. And this is what Ermenegildo Zegna show cased in their FW 18' Collection.

We may have a new trend in our hands. What do you think?
